EPIC GRAN CANARIA is an international road cycling event with two sportive stages, governed by article 9 of the Cyclotourism – Cycling for All regulations of the RFEC. Starting at the Hotel Riu Palace Maspalomas, it will take place from 12 to 14 February 2027.

The two stages of EPIC GRAN CANARIA 2026 take place with open traffic, except for official timed sections where roads are fully closed to traffic to ensure rider safety.

• Follow instructions from local police, civil guard, civil protection and event organisers at all times

To ensure a safe and smooth event, each timed section has a maximum time limit. Riders exceeding this will be withdrawn from the race.

🟠 Maximum time per time trial:

• TIME TRIAL 1 – Ayagaures (12.3 km) → ⏳ 45 minutes

• TIME TRIAL 2 – Salto del Perro (29 km) → ⏳ 1 hours 45 minutes

• Departure from Pie de Cuesta refreshment point at 12:30.

• TIME TRIAL 3 – Climb to Tirajana (22 km) → ⏳ 1 hour 50 minutes

🚨 Important:

• Riders caught by the broom wagon will be withdrawn from the race.

• They must hand in their bib, chip and plate to the organisers.

Yes, it is mandatory to hold a valid cycling federation licence issued by a national federation affiliated with the UCI or the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC).
