📍 Return via Mogán, crossing the tunnel and riding along the Taurito secondary road back to Maspalomas, with all riders regrouped.

🎽 The leader jerseys will be awarded to the best riders after Stage 1 — a special moment to celebrate their effort and officially open the battle for the general classification.

🌟 EPIC Kids – Parque Sur Maspalomas

The EPIC Kids will be the big celebration of grassroots cycling within the EPIC Gran Canaria.
A day designed for the youngest riders to experience the thrill of competition and enjoy themselves in the unique setting of Parque Sur Maspalomas.

The day will begin with number collection at 11:00h at the venue. The first category will start at 12:00h, followed by the rest of the races. At the end, the awards ceremony will take place on the official stage, so every boy and girl receives the recognition they deserve.

The EPIC GRAN CANARIA is an international road cycling event with two cycling stages, regulated by article 9 of the Regulation on Cycling Tourism - Cycling for All of the RFEC. Starting from the Riu Palace Maspalomas Hotel, it will take place from 6 to 8 February 2026.

Yes, but only during the timed sections.

The two stages of EPIC GRAN CANARIA 2026 take place on open roads, except for the official timed segments, where the roads will be completely closed to traffic to ensure participants’ safety.

🔸 Outside the timed sections, it is mandatory to:

• Always ride on the right-hand lane

• Respect all traffic regulations

• Follow at all times the instructions of the Local Police, Guardia Civil, Civil Protection, and the organization

To ensure the safe and smooth progress of the event, each timed section has a maximum time limit. Exceeding this limit will result in the participant being withdrawn from the race.

🟠 Maximum time per timed section:

• CRONO 1 – Ayagaures (12.3 km) → ⏳ 45 minutes

• CRONO 2 – Salto del Perro (29 km) → ⏳ 2 hours 15 minutes

• CRONO 3 – Climb to Tirajana (22 km) → ⏳ 1 hour 50 minutes

🚨 Important:

• Riders caught by the broom wagon will be considered out of the race.

• They must hand over their bib number, timing chip, and plate to the organization staff.

No. Assistance is only permitted by the official organization, exclusively at the designated feed zones and through authorized support vehicles.

⚠️ Authorized exceptions:

• In CRONO 2, feeding is allowed in the village of Soria

• In CRONO 3, feeding is allowed in the village of Fataga

⛔️ Outside these points, any other type of external assistance is strictly prohibited.

Yes, it is mandatory to hold a valid cycling federation license, issued by a national federation affiliated with the UCI or the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC).

You can purchase a one-day insurance during the registration process, valid exclusively for the event days. This insurance provides coverage under similar safety conditions as licensed riders.
